As a Step Up alum, Sumayo (she/her) wants to give back to her community and is excited to look for new and innovative ways to help our youth and employers have successful internships. She brings to this work a background in product and data analytics, project management, systems optimization and collaborative problem solving.

Before joining the Step Up team team Sumayo worked as a technology associate at Wells Fargo, where she supported the Cornerstone Learning application. She also served as a consultant at Turnberry Solutions, providing technical assistance for the ServiceNow platform.

Sumayo earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in management information systems from Augsburg University. As a Capella University Fellows Program scholar, she’s now pursuing a Master of Science degree in information technology with a specialization in project management. In her spare time, she likes to play tennis and swim.
