Supporting Seniors as They Take Their Next Big Step
It’s a busy—and exciting—season in our Career and College Centers! Across 26 Minneapolis and Saint Paul high schools, our teams are hard at work supporting seniors as they explore and prepare for life after graduation.
Every day, students meet one-on-one with career and college readiness coordinators to talk through their goals, ask questions and make personalized plans for their future. Families are also getting involved through senior night events, where they learn more about the college process and resources available to their students.
In addition, seniors are connecting directly with college representatives visiting our schools, giving them a chance to explore options and get their questions answered firsthand. Our teams are also guiding students through important next steps like creating FAFSA IDs, exploring financial aid opportunities, and preparing applications.
From big events to small, daily check-ins, our Career and College Center staff are walking alongside seniors at every stage—helping them gain the knowledge, confidence and support they need to take their next step after high school.
