Share your career journeys at this Edison BIPOC student-focused career event!

Our Career & College Center team at Edison High School invites community volunteers to share their career journeys at Edison's first annual Achieving My Potential (AMP) career event for BIPOC 11th & 12th grade students.

This new event is designed to strengthen college and career-going culture for Edison BIPOC students by partnering with professionals who represent their identities and cultural backgrounds. To that end, we are seeking career networking volunteers from a variety of career fields who also reflect the racial, ethnic, and spoken-language identities of our students.

Event Format

This AMP event will feature a career panel followed by a networking lunch, where volunteers will commune at tables with Edison students to share their careers and educational training, and offer insights on how students can learn more about these fields.

Please note: All volunteers must arrive by 12 p.m. and stay through 2:15 p.m.
