Kendra (she/her/hers) has spent her career focused on developing strong and effective programs and partnerships in support of our education system and the young people it serves. She believes strongly in the importance of supporting our public schools, and she is particularly committed to working to address long-entrenched racial and economic inequities in education.
Kendra comes to Achieve Twin Cities via Santa Fe, New Mexico and Boston, Massachusetts, where she worked in programming providing career and college pathway access for middle school students through community-led apprenticeships. Kendra has a bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College and a Master of Education from Lesley University in Boston. She started her career as a 7th and 8th grade teacher abroad and served as an AmeriCorps Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools from 2007-2010.
When not at work, Kendra enjoys exploring the Twin Cities’ parks and green spaces with her three school-age children, husband and elderly White Shepherd.
