MPS Links to Learning grant applications now open for MPS educators

Assistance League of Minneapolis / Saint Paul members in a group

As the nonprofit foundation for Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS), Achieve Twin Cities manages small grants for MPS educator professional development opportunities, classroom activities and field trip transportation. These include Assistance League of Minneapolis/St. Paul Links to Learning grants, which award up to $1,000 to fund MPS classroom enrichment projects that fall outside of the standard curriculum.

Links to Learning grant applications are now open for the 2023-24 school year, with a fully online application and increased funding for some projects. All applications are due October 2. Assistance League volunteers will review grant applications and conduct follow-up visits with grant recipients.

Recent grants have been used to fund field trips, guest artists and authors, community gardens, cooking classes, access to new technology, culturally specific books and much more.
