Brad (he/him) began his career as a high school math teacher in Denver before moving into career readiness and college access work. His prior experience includes managing an internship program for high school students, serving as a career and college advisor and supervising a small team of college access professionals. Most recently, he worked as an instructional designer, creating online courses to help adult learners break into and succeed in new career fields.

Across all these roles, Brad has demonstrated a commitment to connecting individuals and communities to economic and educational opportunities. He is passionate about using data to uncover and address inequities, contributing to strong and healthy teams, and building sustainable partnerships. He is excited to bring all these skills to his new role at Achieve Twin Cities.

Brad holds a bachelor's degree in English from St. Olaf College, where a work-study job as a writing tutor first inspired him to become an educator. In his free time, he enjoys being outside as much as possible, whether that means running, biking, kayaking, gardening, or simply sitting in the sun with a good book. His indoor hobbies include watching movies, sitting on the couch with a good book, and trying not to come in last place in his fantasy baseball league.
