Emily discovered her love for development work during her time as manager of annual giving and stewardship at the Southern College of Optometry. From there, she gained great experience building donor relationships as a leadership giving officer at the University of Minnesota Foundation.

Emily’s first career out of college was serving as an admissions counselor at Augustana University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration and psychology. As a first-generation college student, working in higher education and helping others have access to higher education have also been passions of hers.  

In her free time, Emily stays active through walking, running and Pilates classes. She also loves to cook, and as a self-professed chronic traveler says you can always catch her planning her next trips with friends and family.
