Kim is a licensed social worker with extensive experience working with youth and families in a variety of settings, including schools and homeless shelters, and with foster and adoptive families. She earned her bachelor’s degree in social work from the College of St. Scholastica and then worked at an orphanage in Mexico before returning to Minnesota to complete her M.S.W. at the University of Minnesota.

As a first-generation college student, Kim is grateful for the resources and mentors that helped her earn her degrees. She’s eager to be part of the Achieve Twin Cities team and help pay it forward by supporting young people in developing and reaching their own career and college goals.

Outside of work, Kim is busy parenting two daughters and enjoys running, biking, kayaking, rec softball and visiting our country’s incredible national parks and monuments.
